Living a Life in the Spirit – Part 3

If we live by our spiritual nature, then our lives need to conform to our spiritual nature. – Gal. 5:25

Central truth: What you experience you will express.

When we have an abundant supply of the Spirit, our lives become effective for the Kingdom, and not just in prayer but our lifestyle becomes a life of consecration and obedience. When I am willing and obedient, I will not just walk but do the Kingdom, and be a vessel full of His Spirit and I become an outflow of the abundant rivers out of my inner man [John 7:37-39]. Ezekiel talks about the waters flowing out of the temple – waters to swim in.

The book of Revelation talks about the river that flows from the Throne of Glory and it brings healing to the nations (prophecy of end-time Glory). We need to become rivers, not just a little trickle of a stream. Truly, if we want to be mightily used in these end times, we must stay full of the Word and the Spirit because there is agreement, and the Blood binds them together in covenant to do the works of Jesus in a Glorious way.

One day while fellowshipping with the Lord, He said: “The river is not going to jump into you – You must jump into the river to experience the move of the Spirit.” To experience the things of the Spirit you must be in the Spirit. The Gifts operate when you are in the Spirit and when you prepare your heart to obey, to minister and pray that love presses in you to touch others for Him!

“Let me ask you again: What does the lavish supply of the Holy Spirit in your life and the miracles of Gods tremendous power have to do with you keeping religious laws? The Holy Spirit is poured out upon us through the revelation and power of faith”! – Gal. 3:5 [TPT]

Paul explains in Philippians 1 verse 19 that the abundant supply of the Spirit of Christ, meaning that all the needs of the chorus is supplied by the leader of the chorus. This bountiful supply of the all-inclusive Spirit of the anointed One, Christ! Jesus in His burial was anointed, and His body prepared. The holy anointing in Exodus 30:23-25, the olive oil that was crushed, compounded with 4 kinds of spices, produces within us a supply as what He lived on earth as His earthly walk in His humanity as a life-giving Spirit in His resurrection.

It is this supply that causes us in our daily walk to flow through us to live Christ [the anointed One]. Our life represents the full supply of the Spirit available for us in prayer. Ephesians 3:19 helps us understand that we are filled through all our being unto all the fullness of God, to have the richest measure of His divine presence, and a body wholly filled and flooded with God Himself. I can only express that which I experience. When I am filled and overflowing, I become an expression of that Glory and anointing.

1 Cor. 14:25 says we will reveal the hidden things in the heart and thought of man and lay it bare. Man will fall to the ground in worship and will acknowledge God as truth in you! You experience His Glory and you become the expression of His Glory! The riches of His Glory He has been revealed and made known to us as revelation through us as vessels of mercy, which He had prepared in Glory for us to receive. There is a Glory in Christ designed to fit you for your destiny [Rom. 9:23].

The darkness of evil has gone over its time limit. The day of Glory is manifested, let us put away the evil deeds of the flesh and darkness. Let us put on the garment of the weapons [tools] of the rays [phosphor] of the brightness of fire and light to make it manifest. Put on as a garment the Glory of the Lord Jesus Christ and give no manifestation to the works of the flesh [Rom. 13:11-14]. Within us is the very treasure that carries the Glory that created the earth through words. “That out of darkness the Glory shall shine” is the One illuminating the very face of Christ. The excellence of the explosiveness of His power is pressing within us a pressure to press out Christ as Glory!

Living a life of the Spirit is a ministry of victorious prayer processed through us as ministers of the New Covenant.

  1. Capturing the enemy in a triumphant procession celebrating Christ’s victory [2 Cor. 2:14]
  2. Incense-bearers to scatter the fragrance of Christ [2 Cor. 2:14-16]
  3. Letters written with Christ as the content [2 Cor. 3:1-3]
  4. Mirrors beholding and reflecting the Glory of Christ to be transformed [2 Cor. 3:17-18]
  5. Earthen vessels contain Christ as Glory as the excellent treasure – we are the camera that flashes God’s shining light [2 Cor. 4:4-6]

The source and supply as ministers of the new covenant, the indwelling Christ becomes our living life in the Spirit and a daily exercise as we enter from within to be an expression of Him.

Scriptures to meditate: Gal. 5:16, 22-25.
