Ezekiel: The Throne of Prayer – Part 2

The throne is a place of authority, rulership, and having dominion. The Glory of the Lord is the God’s fulness of His completeness of who He is! The likeness of that throne of the sapphire stone appeared over the heads of the living creatures.

Then the Lord told the man to go and fill his hands with coals of fire between the living creatures, and the cloud filled the inner court (the prayer court). Then the Glory of the Lord manifested the presence of the Lord, and filled the house with a cloud, and the court with a dazzling, blinding light shining the Lord’s Glory.

Then the sound of wings of the cherubs sounded like the crackling sound of lightning – the voice of the Ruler of all, the voice of the great and powerful God when He speaks, the voice of the Almighty! [Ezekiel 10:1-5]

“Then another angel, having a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne. And the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, ascended before God from the angel’s hand. Then the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar, and threw it to the earth. And there were noises, thunderings, lightnings, and an earthquake.” – Revelation 8:3-5

The prayer of Habakkuk is answered as His Glory covers the earth that was full of His Praise, and His brightness of dazzling lightening exploding; light rays flashing, streaming from His hand [sunlike splendour]; and there He veiled His power [Habakkuk 3:3,4].

God answers His own prayer as He raises His own Son with His Glory. Paul and Silas began to pray and sing praises. God answers their prayers with an earthquake, shaking the foundations of the prison so that the doors were opened, and every chain loosed!

Peter walks in the streets, the overshadowing Glory envelopes the sick—those on beds and mats, tormented with unclean spirits—like a cloud, Healing ALL of them [Acts 5:15,16].

Paul, on the road to Damascus, has an encounter with a brilliant light of the Glory, and the voice of Jesus spoke through the light [Acts 9].

Stephen, full of the Spirit, looked into the heavens and saw THE GLORY OF GOD, and Jesus standing at the right hand in the presence of God [Acts 7:54-60].

God answers our prayers in the Glory, and satan and all his cohorts are in fear and trepidation because the same Glory that Jesus is Lord in, is the same Glory we carry in earthen vessels.

The same Glory has brought all things in subjection under His feet, bringing many sons unto Glory. This Glory is Lord in the realm of the Spirit and makes us co-labourers, and co-heirs together in complete victory to overcome and reign at the THRONE OF PRAYER over all the works of the enemy! Let us SHOUT Glory unto Him who is worthy of it ALL!
