Central truth: Whatever heaven represents to us as Jesus our intercessor, the Holy Spirit represents heaven to us as Jesus our intercessor.
The Holy Spirit is all knowing. He knows the future. He knows Eternity. He is God the Spirit that searches all things, even the heart of God to deposit into our hearts God’s plan and purpose. He prays it out through us into the now (present) but also the future. One word I had from Him was: “Pray the future into the now.”
As we pray in the present, we release spiritual words into the spiritual realm of our future, because in that realm there is no time. He corrects and re-arranges what needs to happen. Our decisions and our circumstances become altered so that when we get there we walk in His perfect will and plan – we walk in our destiny! Romans 8:26 says that the Holy Spirit intercedes the perfect plan through us.
“But when He, the Spirit of Truth (the Truth-giving Spirit) comes, He will guide you into all the Truth (the whole, full Truth). For He will not speak His own message [on His own authority]; but He will tell whatever He hears [from the Father; He will give the message that has been given to Him], and He will announce and declare to you the things that are to come [that will happen in the future].” – John 16:13 [AMPC]
- Guide you – meaning He will teach you nothing contrary to what Jesus has taught you. The truth is absolute – it is Jesus, The Word. Like a father would take his son’s hand and lead him with instruction, so, too, will the Holy Spirit guide you. He guides you in the whole counsel of God; He goes before you, leads the way, removes obstructions, opens your understanding, makes things plain and clear, teaches to profit, and leads the heart without turning to the right hand or left.
- Speak – Jesus only spoke what He heard His Father speak, and so does the Holy Spirit [John 8:28, 38]. Perfect agreement is having the same nature and essence, power, and glory. Complete agreement and unity are having the same thoughts, being perfectly one in harmony in a perfect work of nature and in divine guidance.
- Hear – they are things such as what we have not yet heard; what was secretly transacted in the councils and courtrooms of heaven. Every word, thought and action are in covenant in such perfection that nothing is out of order but in perfect harmony, agreed upon by the Trinity. Every word, every thought, every action is birthed in the glory of this perfection.
- The Holy Spirit says, “The future I will announce, declare, and disclose them to you. I will bring the future into the NOW! What is about to happen and be revealed in our own lives, those things hidden in the world, the church and Israel, the mystery of the Glory [Hab. 2:14], the revelation of Heaven, the ministry of angels, the coming of the Lord, the millennium, the future of ALL the Kingdom!” In John 14:21, Jesus said He will manifest Himself to us, appear, show oneself to come into view. The Holy Spirit is future-minded in His application of the will of God!
“But rather what we are setting forth is a wisdom of God once hidden [from the human understanding] and now revealed to us by God– [that wisdom] which God devised and decreed before the ages for our glorification [to lift us into the glory of His presence].” – 1 Corinthians 2:7 [AMPC]
Here is a key for us when we pray in the Spirit: The wisdom (spiritual revelation of the mystery) is hidden in the Holy Spirit and can only be revealed and manifested by the Spirit as we pray it out from our inner man through the Holy Spirit into this natural world to effect a change and pray the purposes of heaven into full manifestation.
Romans 8:26 tells us that we do not know the FUTURE, but that the Spirit KNOWS. He then prays through us with groanings because He has searched the heart of God and His counsel concerning our destiny and calling, and then prays God’s will and plan through us. Because it has been decreed and devised in the GLORY OF HIS PRESENCE before the ages!
“Yet to us God has unveiled and revealed them by and through His Spirit, for the [Holy] Spirit searches diligently, exploring and examining everything, even sounding the profound and bottomless things of God [the divine counsels and things hidden and beyond man’s scrutiny].” – 1 Corinthians 2:10 [AMPC]
“For one who speaks in an [unknown] tongue speaks not to men but to God, for no one understands or catches his meaning, because in the [Holy] Spirit he utters secret truths and hidden things [not obvious to the understanding].” – 1 Corinthians 14:2 [AMPC]
In my spirit man is the Holy Spirit, who carries divine secrets of the future. And by speaking in tongues those divine secrets are released. The enemy has no understanding or revelation of what you’re saying he is a fallen angel. Many times, when I pray in the Spirit, I know that when I speak in the tongues of angels because I can hear my spirit language shift into another gear.
“The harvest of future prayer will manifest in the results of answered prayer.“

Paul births the church in Ephesus in Acts 19 as revival breaks out and becomes the biggest church with over a 100 thousand, with Timothy, his spiritual son, as the Pastor. Paul implores him to stir up the gift of his future of the prophetic that has gone before him as warfare, and to pray his future word [give it substance by the supply of the Spirit] – 2 Timothy 1:5-8, 1 Timothy 1:18; 4:18
This key will cause you to excel and increase you spiritual dynamics with the working of the Spirit, and make your more effective and a blessing. So, step out with the Holy Spirit and ask Him to guide you in all truth. The Holy Spirit is my best friend because I can fellowship with Him in the Word, and He makes me more conscious of spiritual things. As a result, my heart becomes open to hear the voice of the Good Shepherd. Every believer can co-operate with Him and do the works of Jesus, and change this world for the kingdom!
