Jesus had to be constantly conscious of the Glory, because He had to be conscious of the Father’s plan every moment that He was on earth. There was not even one moment where He could step out of the Father’s will, and what His Father had planned for Him. Every single word, action, thought and prayer had to be measured and kept up to every step with the Father’s will.
In John 9:3 “Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.” John 9:3, NASB: “Jesus answered, ‘It was neither that this man sinned, nor his parents; but it was so that the works of God might be displayed in him.” The works of God is the Glory of God, and Jesus came to manifest this so that God might be Glorified! Hallelujah!
John 11: 4 Jesus makes another statement saying, “When Jesus heard that, He said, “This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God may be glorified through it.” It is not saying that sickness is for the Glory of God but that the glory of God is greater than any and all disease sickness and death itself, and that the Father manifests Himself in the Glory as the God of all creation and all power!
In Luke 5:5 Peter was fishing all night and he caught nothing, but Jesus tells Peter to send out the boats for another catch. Peter had to adjust his attitude and say, “At your Word we will let down the nets.” Jesus’s creative words filled the atmosphere and with Peter believing those words, it released the miracle. It was not the nets that caught the fish, it was the words of Jesus that called the fish in! Peter caught more than enough fish that he was able to pay off his tax owed.
Jesus only had to spit on the ground and used that clay to make a blind man see. Jesus just had to touch the casket of Nain, a young dead man and told him to arise. The fear of God fell on them and they glorified God! In Luke 5, the boy was raised from the dead in the garden.
Everything about Jesus’ miracles and healing was supernatural and almost unreal to the natural being, because He manifested the Kingdom of God wherein is the excellent Glory! Everything He did was first prayed into existence from the spirit world into the natural world, He called it forth by speaking to it. Everything in the kingdom operates by the laws of the Spirit of life. Jesus operated from the Kingdom realm in the natural and greatly overcame because He ‘lived’ in that realm constantly,. As a young boy Jesus had to learn the scriptures so that He could apply the Word with His mouth.
The same Glory that raised Jesus from the dead is the same Glory that has raised you from the dead. That same Glory sustains and carries you in every circumstance that you might go through, this is the same Glory that we must live in every day so that the same resurrection power is working in us daily. God’s plan and purpose will be magnified as we yield to that Glory from the inside of us! Then prayer becomes like the flow of a river; which is natural and powerful in its original state.
Jesus shouted in John 7:37-39, “Out of your inner treasure shall flow the excellency of His Glory..” – THE EXCELLENT GLORY. The Glory flows from the inside out, it is that same power that raised Jesus from the dead. The key is the Glory! In this is the power that enables you to accomplish the will of God in prayer. So, when I pray, I declare the same power will raise my dead situation from the dead to life, and the victory is mine!
In Luke 5 it says that the healing Glory was present to heal all the religious groups, but the friends of an impotent man broke open the roof of Jesus’s house out of desperation. This moved Jesus, and He said (I’m paraphrasing here), “I see your faith! Your sins are forgiven, now arise, take your bed and glorify God.
When Glory touches you, glorifying Him is normal and so natural, and extraordinary things happen that seems impossible to the natural eye. The God of the possible takes the impossible and turns it around in an extraordinary way.
